DWD Central Coast meeting includes discussion of Advance Planning
DWD Central Coast quarterly meeting
When: Friday 18 May 2018 – 10 am to 12 noon
Ms Bev Symons, Co-ordinator of Dying with Dignity NSW Central Coast Group, will provide an update on the latest news.
Guest speaker: Stuart Carter
Stuart Carter is an advocate for living in the knowledge that death is ever present and the moderator of the Die-alogue Cafe protocol – click here for Die-alogue Cafe website
Special topic for discussion: Advance Planning for Later Life.
Stuart will give us a multimedia presentation about Advance Planning and the importance of starting a conversation. Advance Planning is about providing a roadmap for our care, providing those we love with some clues, some directions, some pointers for what we would like to happen when we die and leave others to take care of our remains, both physical and material. Stuart believes that Advance Planning is an aspect of good housekeeping – it’s about not leaving a mess as part of our legacy.
