Dying With Dignity NSW campaigns for legislation to provide for voluntary assisted death with strict guidelines

Elections are fundamental to the democratic process.  We vote for members of Parliament to represent us.  We expect them to pass laws that reflect what the majority of Australians want.

Over 80% of Australians want the option to choose a painless death when they are terminally or incurably ill and experiencing unrelievable suffering.  However, state and federal governments have consistently avoided this issue for fear of alienating religious lobby groups.  This issue is important for the sake of democracy, human rights and compassion for those who are suffering.

Dying with Dignity NSW is campaigning to achieve legislation that entitles mentally competent persons suffering from an incurable illness or condition to choose to receive medical assistance to end their lives.

WE APPRECIATE YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR OUR IMPORTANT CAMPAIGN.
